Academic Qualifications

Dushyant has done his BA from St Stephens College in Delhi and then went to Johnson and Wales University, Providence, RI, USA for his MBA (Hotel Administration). He also holds a PG Diploma in Hotel Operations from the IHTTI School of Management, Neuchatel, Switzerland.

After completing his education, Dushyant did his internship at, (i) Hyatt Regency Hilton Head, South Carolina (U.S.A.), December 1998 – February 1999; (ii) Hotel Beau Rivage, Geneva, Switzerland, January 1997 – July 1997; and (iii) J. Thomas and Co. Pvt. Ltd., Kolkata, August 1994 – August 1995, he also worked at one of the worlds largest chains of Hotels, Sheraton Hotels (U.S.A.) from June 1999 to March 2002 in hospitality, which helped him manage and interact with people of different backgrounds and cultures, he also worked for Hospitality Valuation Servies (HVS), Delhi from July 2002 to October 2002 evaluating real estate and assisting in Executive Search for various positions for the firms largest clients and gained tremendous insight into Real estate in commercial India.

After working in various capacities, the call for public service was beckoning and Dushyant decided to take the plunge in active politics.

 

Political

 

Dushyant Singh was elected to 14th Lok Sabha from Jhalawar constituency (Rajasthan), he is also a Member of Committee on Transport, Tourism and Culture department from 2007 onwards. Dushyant’s goal is to help India progress into a developed nation and improve the standard and quality of life of its people starting with the constituency of Jhalawar-Baran in the State of Rajasthan.
